Dalby Diddys is a forest school session for preschool age children with their parents/carers. Set in the wonderful woodlands of Dalby Forest, children have the freedom to move about at their own pace. Whether they wish to go on a bug hunt, explore the beautiful flora and fauna of the woods, read a book or more, have a picnic with the teddy bears, make something to take home, use real tools, cook over the fire, do a spot of yoga, splash in the stream with the dinosaurs or simply laze in the hammock, the choice is theirs.
No need to have a Dalby Pass, we will give you a code.
We meet at Dalby Courtyard (not the visitors centre) which is situated near the bike shop. From here it is a 10 to 15 minute walk. You can walk or ride a bike to our location in the woods. The terrain is buggy and bike friendly.
The following clothing is advised: Wellies/boots, fleece, long sleeve top, long trousers, waterproof coat and trousers. It might also be a good idea to bring a towel and spare clothes, especially socks.
Sessions are 10am to 11:30am on a Thursday morning, the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January. Due to COVID restrictions we are limiting to 12 people. Accompanying adults are free, children are a £20 fee that covers all four sessions, sorry we are not offering sibling discounts or reduced prices for less events.
